Private anti-subversive foundation Bob casts as the covert, institutional face of the Android Meme's archiving. In his telling it grew out of Los Angeles Police Department domestic spying "following up on J. Edgar Hoover," was ostensibly disbanded but secretly ran an archive of citizens until 1983 under Georgia congressman Larry McDonald — whose death aboard Flight KAL 007, Bob claims, was an assassination timed to the operation's exposure. It is the "secret part" of the archive-as-ground that Bob dates to 1960–90.
