concept

The name Bob Dobbs gives to the one thing the media are held not to touch — the position from which a person insists they are separate from their own extensions. On his chart it occupies the fourth level of the Kroker quadrant, where Kroker's dark Tetrad describes what is "held in place, immobilized." Dialogue 80 is the entry point: it is the only place in the archive where Bob explains where the term came from and then, under questioning, revises the exception it rested on.

80

Gets its origin story and then its correction in the same stretch — Bob explains why the term entered the chart at all, and then, under Cameron's questioning, gives up the exception that had kept it separate from the rest of the chart's fourth level

The term is Bob's own insertion into borrowed material — where Kroker's fourth dark arm stops, Bob's chart keeps going.

"Then I add citadel of consciousness, which is the fifth level, the Dobbs quadrant."

Cameron tests the chart for consistency — if every other arm is holeopathic, the citadel looks less like a distinct category than an unexplained gap.

"am I right that you could also say of all four of the arms of the light Tetrad that that is holeopathic effect? And you could also say of the fourth arm of the dark Tetrad, instead of citadel of consciousness, you could again say holeopathic effect."

Bob concedes the point and folds the citadel back in — it is not an exception to the shrinking but a name for one instance of it.

"But you're right, the fourth level is holeopathic. It's satellite squared, which is the co-anesthetic. citadel of consciousness."

The term's own status is downgraded in the telling — an afterthought bolted onto an existing effect, not a fifth thing discovered alongside the other four.

"And that's the citadel of consciousness, the thing the media doesn't affect. So the citadel of consciousness is an afterthought from the holeopathic satellite effect."

The citadel is the Anthropomorphic Physical under another name — the reflex of denying one's own extension, which is exactly the reflex the chapter is built to expose.

"And so I stuck in this aspect of what is not being affected by the media. which is the AP, the thing that is going to say, I am not this, I'm separate from it."

Connections

fourth arm ofArthur Kroker

Bob supplies the term where Kroker's dark Tetrad names what is "held in place, immobilized, almost cryogenically frozen."

What the media cannot reach is the AP — the position that insists "I am not this, I'm separate from it."

revised intoHoleopathic

Pressed by Cameron, Bob concedes the fourth level is holeopathic too, and that dropping the word there was an idiosyncrasy.
